EBARA Pumps Americas Corporation held its Fourth Annual Pump School this summer; a three-day, on-site factory training conference for distributor sales and field service personnel. Registration was open to any current EPAC distributor or representative. Approximately 60 people from over 30 different distributors across North America attended.
Participants were able to engage in classes that covered topics from pump fundamentals and application considerations to Ebara products and company procedures. Class sessions and a Factory Tour were presented by Ebara employees and associated guest presenters. One participant felt, “The instructors were well versed and took the time to answer very specific questions from the attendees.”
Ebara strives to provide distribution partners with the information needed to serve their customers with haste and confidence. These classes are to help participants become more comfortable with Ebara products, proper pump selection and application. This participant expressed, “Now I have the knowledge to have confident conversations about the pumps with customers.”
Pump School provides distribution partners the opportunity to visit the factory and meet the Ebara staff whom they communicate with daily. Forming and nurturing relationships, between the factory and channel partners, is important to Ebara’s mission to provide the best customer service in the industry.
