Danfoss releases new TurboTool® 2.0 app designed to improve Danfoss Turbocor® compressor service, maintenance time

Product by: Danfoss

Danfoss has announced the release of TurboTool® 2.0 — a new version of its versatile mobile app, available for iOS and Android devices, designed to help simplify field service of Danfoss Turbocor® oil-free, variable speed, magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors. Service technicians can use the TurboTool® app to troubleshoot issues and resolve them quickly.

The app works by allowing the user to select from a list of symptoms that match the problems exhibited by the compressor being serviced. The app will then list potential causes, correct operating parameters, and solutions to resolve the problem.

Helpful assistance is at your fingertips with instantaneous access to videos that demonstrate how to remove, install, and rebuild key components on Danfoss Turbocor® compressors, as well as to hundreds of pages of catalogs and service manuals.

TurboTool® also helps users quickly identify spare parts that may need to be replaced. By scanning the compressor serial number with a smartphone camera or by entering the part number or model number, the app will display potential spare parts kits.

The new TurboTool® app is part of the extensive library of apps offered by Danfoss to help OEMs, contractors, and end users design, service, and maintain HVAC equipment.
