VLT® HVAC drive is now available with a NEMA 3R rating, with protection against falling rain, sleet, and ice formation. All cast aluminum parts are powder coated with a durable epoxy that can withstand harsh environments, and because the drives are inherently NEMA 3R there is no need for a separate enclosure. The impressive range of standard I/O can be expanded through factory or field installable option cards. With enhanced HVAC-specific features and custom programmability, each drive provides simple out-of-the-box operation.
VLT® HVAC drives offer a range of pump-friendly features and options such as sensorless pump control, inherently NEMA 3R/4/4X enclosure types, and single phase –specific rated products making it the ‘drive of choice’ in the North American HVAC pump market. Some user friendly features that simplify operation and lower costs include an award winning LCP keypad design that reduces commissioning time and startup costs, and a watertight USB connection allowing for setup and programming with the drive enclosure sealed.
VLT® HVAC Drives are available in a 1.5 – 60 HP: 200 – 240V; 1.5 – 125 HP: 480V; and 1.5 – 125 HP: 600V power range. It is now also available in 208-230v, single phase operation up to 30 HP, to allow utilization in common pump applications where 3 phase power is not available or economically viable.
