Neptune™, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a leading brand of chemical metering and peristaltic pumps, portable mixers, chemical feed systems and other related equipment, will be exhibiting in booth 4423 at the upcoming Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). Taking place from Sept. 30–Oct. 4 in Chicago, IL, USA, WEFTEC is one of the largest events for the global water and wastewater industry.
At the event, Neptune will be featuring its line of Abaque™ Series peristaltic (hose) pumps, which have recently been redesigned to incorporate a wide variety of robust design enhancements. These Heavy-Duty Neptune (HDN) pumps meet the challenging requirements in the water and wastewater industry thanks to a seal-free design that eliminates leaks and product contamination. They feature a new hose connection system that has an improved clamping system with fewer parts to simplify hose replacement, a redesigned pump rotor to decrease weight and increase strength, and a new oval viewing window that allows shoe adjustment without removing the cover.
Neptune will also be showing its Series MP7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump at the show. Designed to be a low-flow version of the Neptune Series MP7100 metering pump, the Series MP7000 incorporates a wide variety of design features that provide reliable and accurate dosing of a wide range of middle to aggressive chemicals, including those used in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment. Series MP7000 pumps have been engineered from the ground up to be more robust and durable than similar mechanical diaphragm pump designs. The Series MP7000 pump incorporates the ruggedness of a hydraulic diaphragm metering pump, eliminates the need for intermediate fluid or hydraulic oil to actuate the diaphragm and reduces the potential for gearbox oil to contaminate the process.
In addition, Neptune will be showcasing its PZ Series electronic diaphragm and Series 500 hydraulically actuated metering pumps. PZ Series pumps have numerous designed in features, making them ideal for various product applications at flow rates from .01 to 20 gph. PZ pumps operate on a manual control that produces speed ranging from 15 to 300 strokes per minute with a variety of liquid-end materials are available. In addition, the Series 500 pumps feature EZE-CLEAN™ valve cartridges that can be removed for cleaning without disturbing the piping to the pump. Series 500 pumps have capabilities to 100 gph (302 lph) simplex and 200 gph (605 lph) duplex. Series 500 pumps are offered with pressure capabilities up to 3,000 psi (210 KG/cm).
