Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technologies, exhibited at the National Groundwater Association’s (NGWA) 2022 Groundwater Week Conference and Expo in Las Vegas on December 6-8, 2022. In booth #619, Grundfos hosted its 3rd annual WaterPRO Competition and showcased their interactive digital application WellConnect, Utility Connect, the new SPE pump, and new value proposition for 2023.
“Attending Groundwater Week is like a homecoming for the tight-knit community of water well contractors and pump installers. These professionals and the technology providers collaborate to share what is next in groundwater innovation,” said Patrick Sless, Area Sales Director in Canada and the US for Water Utility at Grundfos. Noting that the WaterPRO Competition is“a fun celebration of the skills and expertise pump installers must possess to install and maintain this vital equipment.”
The WaterPRO Competition culminated at NGWA’s Groundwater Week, where 10 finalists from the 2022 local events and two walk-ons at the show compete for a $10,000 grand prize and the Guts and Glory title. This year’s competition featured the Go Solar App and Scala1 pump.
Although the final competition challenges are only revealed at NGWA, the participants complete typical pump installer tasks the fastest to move on to the next round and claim the championship title. To learn more about the WaterPRO Competition, visit Grundfos WaterPRO Competition.

The latest solar water pump and SPE products were also on display.
Concluding the full day of events and exhibiting at NGWA, Grundfos held their annual Hospitality Event at Beer Park and crowned the 2022 WaterPRO winner.
