Neptune™ Chemical Pump Co., a leading manufacturer of chemical metering pumps, has announced it will be exhibiting in Booth 16 at the upcoming International Water Conference (IWC), sponsored by the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania, which will be held from Nov. 13-17 at The Hilton at the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, FL.
The IWC is the world’s leading gathering place for professionals within the industrial water treatment universe. As such, IWC is a perfect venue for Neptune, the global leader in the design and manufacture of chemical metering pumps and chemical feed systems for the water and wastewater industries, to showcase its products.
At IWC, Neptune plans to highlight its industry-leading hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps such as its Series 500 and Series 600 Metering Pumps. Neptune’s Series 500 pumps feature a Variable Oil By-pass™ stroke adjustment that allows for better valve performance than traditional variable-linkage designs. This allows the valve checks to have extra time to seat even in heavy liquids since they are idle during the by-pass portion of the suction and discharge strokes. Neptune’s Series 500 pumps have simplex flow-rate capabilities of 1 gph (3.7 lph) at pressures up to 1,100 psi (77 KG/cm), while its Series 600 have flow capacities to 240 gph (908 lph) simplex and at pressures up to 4,000 psi (280 KG/cm),
Neptune will also be featuring its Series 7000 mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump at the IWC show. The simple, straight-through valve and head design allows for improved flow characteristics versus competitive models. The Series 7000 is self-priming and provides superior performance when pumping chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite, which can off-gas. With a maximum capacity range from 15 to 300 gph at 150 psi, the Series 7000 is available in PVC, Kynar and 316 stainless steel liquid ends.
