Smart H2O Summit is the name of a brand new conference and exhibition being launched next August 17th – 19th at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel.
Targeted to municipalities and other key water stewards, Smart H2O Summit was created to help communities and select business sectors solve their critical water infrastructure challenges through innovative new global technologies and solutions. The event will offer a comprehensive conference program featuring the world’s leading water authorities, as well as an exhibition floor where attendees can experience technology solutions first-hand.
“What makes Smart H2O Summit unique is that it is focused on the most influential leadership in municipal water infrastructure and how new technology solutions can help solve their problems.” said Jane McDermott, Smart H2O Show Director. “We decided to launch it near California’s Silicon Valley where some of the most innovative technologies are being developed and where municipalities are implementing successful solutions.”
McDermott said the goal is not to be a big Show that tries to be all things to all people, or a regional event that focuses just on local municipalities. “We will be offering the best municipal water infrastructure solutions and technologies from around the world.”
The extensive conference program will include a track on strategic issues especially designed for utility CEOs and general managers, as well as a parallel technical tracks, some of them offering continuing education credits. “Hi-tech and new-tech can enable efficiency improvements across the water industry. Smart metering, using IT to reduce non-revenue water losses, and water re-use technologies will take center stage,” commented Conference Co-Chair, John Pearson, “ We will emphasize real-world solutions and case histories from water utilities across the country”.
