WWEMA is pleased to share a complimentary copy of its most recent Member Bulletin. This publication is a synopsis of key information curated from numerous legislative, regulatory, association, and industry sources to save our members time and remind them about important registration deadlines. This is one of the benefits of WWEMA membership, in addition to unique networking opportunities with some of the most well-respected firms in the industry. Additionally, WWEMA is active in advocacy efforts of interest to the broader industry, both independently and in concert with water and other allied associations. Specifically, WWEMA is helping to advance progress on national infrastructure funding legislation, adoption of innovative technologies, removal of private activity bond caps, and most recently financial relief for water utilities severely impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The types of issues listed above, in addition to others directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic, are what WWEMA addresses in its programming to help position its member companies for success. WWEMA’s July 16th Virtual Meeting titled, Ensuring Business Success in the Post-COVID-19 World, brought together many distinguished thought leaders in economics, politics, the construction industry, human resources, and law to discuss the unique challenges the pandemic presents, and more importantly, how companies can understand and plan for impacts across this wide range of business functions.
