TEES Turbo Lab hosts 44th Turbomachinery & 31st Pump Symposia

The 44th Turbomachinery and 31st Pump Symposia (TPS 2015) will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas on September 15-17, with short courses being offered on September 14 in conjunction with the Symposia. TPS 2015 will feature a world-class technical program combined with an international exhibit hall. TPS is the premier training and networking opportunity for professionals in both pump and turbomachinery industries; last year alone, it saw more than 340 exhibiting companies and 6,200 registrants from 47 states and 50 countries. Built on a history of success, this annual event promotes professional development, technology transfer, peer networking, and information exchange among industry professionals.

Paid Symposia attendees can choose to attend and engage in a combination of 16 short courses, 19 lectures, 20 tutorials, 28 discussion groups, and 18 case studies led by industry experts from around the world. Continuing education credits are offered for all technical sessions.

The Symposia exhibition show will host booths of over 300 leading companies from the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, pumping and turbomachinery industries. Inside the exhibit hall, companies will display full-size equipment, cutting-edge technology, and emerging industry trends. During a portion of the Symposia, the exhibit hall will be free to the public upon attendee completion of a free-pass registration form (Tuesday 2:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., Wednesday 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., and Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – noon).

Individuals on active military duty will receive a complimentary full symposia pass upon presenting the appropriate identification. Those interested in registering for this option should contact Jeannie Galindo at

On-site registration is available starting Sunday, 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and after that during regular event hours. For more information on TPS 2015, including the full technical program, event schedule, exhibiting company list, registration procedures and more, please visit: or email

The Symposia is organized by the Turbomachinery Laboratory, part of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and The Texas A&M University System.
