47th Washington Forum – Harnessing The Power Of Chance

The Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) is pleased to announce open registration for its Virtual 47th Washington Forum, Harnessing the Power of Change. The invitation is for everyone in the water sector—both WWEMA members and non-members—to join on April 27-29 as they examine how emerging from a nearly year-long lockdown, the new Presidential Administration, and legislative and regulatory initiatives from the 117th Congress will affect the industry. Specifically, they’ll review the state of the U.S. economy with a focus on the water industry, discuss U.S. trade relationships, examine critical issues involving labor, skills, automation, and immigration, and provide a legislative and regulatory update on key Federal initiatives, including an infrastructure package.

During the meeting, attendees will hear from thought leaders and gain critical insight and practical strategies needed for success in these challenging times. Registration information, along with a detailed program and speaker biographies are available on the WWEMA website at https://wwema.org/washington-forum/ .  WWEMA is pleased to share that registration for their meeting also includes complimentary admission to a separate event held with other Water Associations as part of Water Week 2021. This event will provide meeting attendees the opportunity to network with other colleagues in water and hear from senior EPA officials and Members of Congress regarding their priorities and the legislative regulatory outlook for 2021 and beyond. Specific speakers include:

  • John Manzella, Keynote Speaker and Founder, Manzella Trade Communications. Economic Trends, Global Trade, Labor, and What’s Ahead.
  • Adam Krantz, CEO, National Association of Clean Water Agencies. Utility Perspectives on Challenges, Opportunities, and Priorities.
  • Eric Sapirstein, President; ENS Resources, Inc. Rebuilding the Nation’s Infrastructure – The Political Dynamics.
  • Ken Simonson, Chief Economist, Associated General Contractors of America, The Post (?)- Pandemic Outlook for Construction.
  • Water Week Policy Zoom-In with EPA Officials and Members of Congress. Several speakers. Separate complimentary registration at https://nacwa.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_fiqmWROtRZapbKs0HymVEw .

To support widespread industry participation, WWEMA is pleased to offer ‘package pricing’. This price structure allows blocks of tickets to be purchased by a company or organization so that they can include several staff, in addition to their clients, prospects, and channel partners. Single-person registration is priced at $129. A 5- and 10-pack of registrations are priced at $250 and $450, respectively.

Additionally, meeting attendees can participate in Networking Roundtables that offer the opportunity to exchange information about critical and timely water issues. Other networking opportunities will be provided within the meeting platform allowing participants to connect with each other. Networking is available upon registration and for 90 or 180 days after the meeting in the online and mobile apps, respectively.

Sponsorship opportunities are available to both members and non-members. There are various levels ranging from Bronze ($500) to Diamond ($2,000). In addition to social media and WWEMA general website and registration page recognition, sponsors receive exposure via a WaterOnline B2Brand announcement, a circulating banner ad during the meeting, and a showcase landing page within the meeting platform featuring company promotional materials and videos. Companies interested in being a meeting sponsor should contact Vanessa Leiby, Executive Director, at vanessa@wwema.org or register at https://whova.com/portal/registration/washi_202104/ .
