In early December 2017, Rain for Rent, a leading provider of temporary liquid handling solutions, reached out to one of their trusted partners – AllightPrimax. The team at Rain for Rent spoke with Doug Bartholomew, the AllightPrimax USA Sales Manager, and requested four specialized Pump Sets for their Colorado location – the catch: the pump sets were needed in just six weeks!
The pump sets were needed for dewatering a site in Colorado, and they required multiple well-point systems. Site-geology proved acceptable, and the Sykes/Primax WD150e (50hp electric driven) Pump was selected.
“With an oil-less vacuum pump, it results in very long service intervals, which is perfect for continuously-running pumps. Add to that the high-pressure capacity, plus the stainless steel impeller, plates and shaft – it’s an extremely long-life, anti-corrosive pumping solution with little maintenance required,” states Will Hinson, Manager USA Operations, AllightPrimax.
The pump sets were delivered within the requested 6 week time frame, and Mathew O’Connell, an experienced Primax Technician, was on-site to oversee the assembly of the completed units and provide on-site operational support.
