On 29 May 2019, Cook Compression® celebrated the grand opening of its satellite service facility in Sicily, Italy. The service facility supports the rapid reconditioning of compressor valves for ISAB S.r.l, a part of Lukoil Oil Company, and other refineries in the region. ISAB has awarded Cook Compression a multi-year contract to provide technical support, reconditioning and upgrades for reciprocating compressor valves.

Service personnel received in-depth training from the Cook Compression European Operations headquarters in the United Kingdom, and ISAB has completed a full audit of the repair facility. Cook Compression provides expert valve repair for any make or model valve and guarantees as-new performance and service life for the reconditioned valve. Rigorous inspection, best-in-class procedures and quality replacement components return valves to original specifications.
