2018 Flowserve Decoking System User’s Symposium SEPT. 11 – 13 | Long Beach

September 11, 2018 @ 8:00 am - September 13, 2018 @ 5:00 pm

Flowserve

Now in its fourteenth year, the 2018 Flowserve Decoking System User’s Symposium, one of the premier industry events for system owners, engineers, operators and maintenance personnel, is designed specifically for Flowserve users. This is your opportunity to experience and evaluate new Flowserve solutions and learn why our hallmark brands are trusted by customers who demand safety, reliability and peak performance — year after year.

Like you, many Flowserve customers face similar business challenges to reduce their operating costs, mitigate risks and improve operating performance. They need a wide variety of solutions, including specialty equipment, along with a full offering of aftermarket services.

Get Solutions Demos

FlowserveOur product demos at the Vernon plant will showcase the strengths and competitive advantages of Flowserve solutions — which raise the bar on product life, durability and performance — so users benefit from a comprehensive solution. Product and user presentations will be provided to demonstrate best practices and lessons learned from both Flowserve engineers and other industry experts.

Ask the Experts

We invite you to network with the attending specialists, subject matter experts, end users and licensors. We’ll answer your questions and address any product application issues you may have, regardless of how simple or complex they may be.

The Flowserve team includes sales specialists, product managers, sub-vendor experts and controls specialists who represent the various parts of the decoking system as a whole. As a result, they’ll provide expert and insider knowledge that’s essential to mastering these systems. Each has extensive background in the industry and can help you improve your asset management strategies and enhance your operational procedures.

Past Topics have been:

  • Remote cutting: From Startup through operation
  • Important Innovations for the Future of Cokers
  • Safety & Reliability with Automated & Remote Cutting
  • High Pressure Large Shaft Pumps
  • Data Driven R&D Improvements
  • Improve coke formation with dual feed technology
  • Handling Slurry in the Maze Pit
  • Cost Effect Upgrades

A complete facility tour with important innovations and demonstrations will also be provided. This year we also plan on have IR and Siemens available for panel discussions.

Attend Education Sessions

FlowserveAs an additional service, Flowserve decoking specialists, in collaboration with experts from the greater refining community, will lead a short course on Monday afternoon and continuing Tuesday morning on decoking equipment and operational safety.

You’ll be well-versed on the equipment that Flowserve can supply, and receive insight on the breadth of sub-systems that can be offered to support your delayed coker unit. Plus, you’ll gain practical experience that will lead to operational knowledge, which can be applied to help prevent and handle potentially dangerous situations. Finally, attendees will receive training services utilizing our CYBERCUT training system.
