WWEMA Finance & Contracts Administration Council Meeting
July 25, 2019 - July 26, 2019
WWEMA is pleased to announce the program for our annual Finance & Contracts Administration Council Meeting that will take place on July 25-26, 2019 in Indianapolis, IN. The 1½ day meeting will be held at the Law Offices of Barnes & Thornburg. Click the icon below, or the attached file, to view program details, registration, and hotel information or go to https://wwema.org/finance-contract-administration-council/. A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the rate of $169/night, plus tax at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. Please note that meeting space is limited and the hotel room cut off is June 27, 2019, so register today!
The program is a must-attend event for those with contract responsibilities within their companies or managers who seek to better understand how the right contract can impact the bottom line. This year’s program provides highly interactive sessions on Find the Flaws, contract language for alternative procurement mechanisms, what you need to know about Contract Lifecycle Management systems, neutralizing contract “killer” clauses, negotiating successful change orders, tariffs and trade, and a special financial presentation. Additionally, WWEMA is working with the Construction Financial Management Association to potentially offer Continuing Professional Education hours for the event – more information coming soon.
And it’s not all work… After a long day of learning how to successfully manage and negotiate contracts, join your colleagues as we head to a local Escape Room for an evening of fun followed by a catered dinner. The 1½ days of topnotch training, a networking lunch, refreshments, the Escape Room event, and dinner are included in the very affordable price of $395 for WWEMA members (the third member from the same company is further reduced to $295). Non-members can participate for $595. Space is limited and expected to fill up quickly, so reserve your sleeping room and register today.
