Hydraulic Institute Announces 2016 Young Engineer of the Year; Jared Wageman, Product Development Engineer, Ansimag of Sundyne, Receives Honor
The Hydraulic Institute (HI) recognized and honored Jared Wageman, Product Development Engineer, Ansimag of Sundyne, as HI’s 2016 Young Engineer of the Year award recipient. The award was presented to Mr. Wageman during HI’s 2017 Annual Conference & Centennial Celebration Gala at the JW Marriott – Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.
The Young Engineer award was established to recognize the efforts and contributions of engineers under the age of 40 from Member companies and Standard Partners who have made a significant impact within their current position and have also contributed to the advancement of the work of HI.
Jared is a model to all young engineers in the pump industry. He has been actively involved with HI since 2013, is an active member of 13 committees, led the development and presentation of a new Sealless pump educational webinar in 2016, and holds leadership positions of one section and two committees:
- Pump Fundamentals Working Group Leader for the Pump System Optimization committee
- Vice-Chairman – Rotodynamic – Application Specific Section
- Chairman – Sealless Rotodynamic Nomenclature, Definition, Operation & Test
