The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has launched ANSI/HI Standards on CD Version 4.0, its latest offering of ANSI/HI Standards on CD in downloadable format.
This new and comprehensive version is comprised of 37 standards, of which 16 have been updated since the release of Version 3.2 in 2015 and two are entirely new – ANSI/HI 7.8 Controlled-Volume Metering Pump Piping Guideline and HI 40.5 Energy Rating Program Guide. Features of Version 4.0 include: Available as a simple download (no physical CD included), searchable PDF files, hypertext links from indexes to each Standard/Section/Page, bookmarks, and annotations. Printing and commenting are also enabled.
Current users of CD Version 2.1 through 3.2 may upgrade to Version 4.0 using HI’s upgrade paths now through May 31, 2017. After this date, upgrade paths for CD Version users 2.1 through 3.1 will be unavailable and a full 4.0 Version download will be required. However, HI will maintain a 4.0 Version upgrade path for Version 3.2 users throughout 2017.
