NOV Monoflo®, a leading designer and manufacturer of progressing cavity (PC) pumps, grinders, screens, packaged pump solutions, and universal parts, today announced the release of its EZstripTM technology, which reduces PC pump maintenance time from hours to minutes.
This innovative pump is the biggest leap forward in progressing cavity (PC) pump design in 30 years and is an extension of Monoflo’s popular Compact C pump. EZstripTM provides a quick and easy way to disassemble, de‐rag and maintain a PC pump in place, reducing maintenance time by more than 93% for significant cost savings. Distinguished by a patented split coupling rod, EZstrip offers direct access to the pump’s wear parts and rotating assemblies without affecting the pump’s operational parameters.
Commenting on the launch of EZstrip technology, Jim Putnam, General Manager of NOV Monoflo stated: “EZstrip is the realization of a 75+ year search to engineer a truly maintain‐in‐place progressing cavity pump. By making it easy for owners to access, maintain, and overhaul the pump without disconnecting it from the piping and electrical systems, EZstrip delivers significant measurable bottom‐line improvement and maximizes pump system operational availability.
Additionally, EZstrip eliminates the need for dismantling space since the pump is maintained within its own assembled length. EZstrip is truly a revolutionary leap in PC technology.”
Pumps equipped with NOV Monoflo’s EZstrip offer the same design and performance of a traditional PC pump with the added benefit of maintain‐in‐place capability. A premium feature offered at a competitive price, EZstrip can be installed on new pumps or retrofitted into existing select Compact C and B‐Range installations. The model range has a capacity of up to 726 gpm and 174 psi and is available in either cast iron or stainless steel. A pre‐assembled drive train with two year warranty is also available.
