At the Hydraulic Institute’s 100th Anniversary Gala, we met a Senior Engineer from Con Edison who shared some amazing stories with us about what it’s like to work with a major utility that provides electric, gas and steam service to more than 3 million customers in New York City.

Before accepting the HI Pump Industry Excellence Award on behalf of Con Edison for significant achievements in Energy Efficiency, M. John Constable shared with us this inspirational quote: “We need to think in more innovative ways to solve problems that we face as we navigate through our careers in the pump industry.”
