Registration Now Open For Best Practices Expo & Conference 2019

Registration is now open for the 2019 Best Practices Expo & Conference, an event devoted exclusively to optimizing the technologies powering modern plant automation, taking place October 13-16 at the Nashville Music City Center. Compressed air, blower, vacuum, pneumatics, motors, steam and cooling water systems must be reliable and safe – yet all attendees learn to answer the question, “What’s Your kW and Water Use-per Unit of Production?”  Over the course of three days, the program examines these leading energy and water consumers in a 96-session conference uniting technology and system assessment experts with manufacturing/process industry leaders such as General Mills, Toyota, Ball Corporation, Eastman, Nissan, and AMCOR, who have profitably deployed energy and water conservation measures.

“This is the place for neutral and technical insights and best practice information from credible experts, industry leaders and technical professionals, all in one place,” says Rod Smith, Publisher, Smith Onandia Communications and producer of Best Practices Expo & Conference. “We bring together plant managers, production managers, energy managers, plant engineers, and maintenance managers along with sales and services engineers and engineering firms to learn where they can find water and energy savings in these often over-looked systems.”

Energy Conservation / IoT Monitoring
Focusing on chillers, air compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps, learn to reduce “kw per product produced”. Learn Key Performance Indicators and learn to use IoT monitoring tools. Challenge long-held pressure, flow, dewpoint and water temperature specifications. Centralized system design and benefits

Water Conservation / Energy Management 
Focusing on cooling towers and chillers, learn to Challenge the need for water-cooled air compressors and vacuum pumps. Water treatment reduces cooling tower water consumption. How to create an energy management culture.

The Best Practices Expo hosts more than 100 exhibitors featuring the technologies powering modern plant automation. World-class manufacturers of technology and system assessment experts are present to advise on the optimization of compressed air, blower, vacuum, pneumatics, motors, steam, and cooling systems. A particular emphasis is placed on how to use IoT technologies to monitor, measure and visualize Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
