S-Flex AC drives: Expanded offer adds flexibility, efficiency for pump applications

The S-Flex™ enclosed AC drive line developed for pump and buildings applications has been expanded to include Type 12 and Type 3R enclosure options. The enclosures, which complete Schneider Electric’s portfolio of drives for pump and building applications, now enable installation of S-Flex drives in outdoor and roof applications. This allows for greater flexibility and easier maintenance by keeping HVAC system components together. In addition, the expanded drive includes BACnet® communication protocols and is the only line on the market to receive Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) certification to AHRI Standard 1210 for efficiency. Other enhancements to the line include a 50 degrees Celsius option for warmer applications and a C-UL rating for Canadian customers.

Magelis STU interfaces: Redefining possibilities for pumping applications

The Magelis STU human machine interface (HMI) redefines possibilities for pumping applications with the patented push-button style mounting system. The compact modular HMI offer fits anywhere on the pump system – skid, enclosed controller, etc. – bringing safety, reliability, and simplicity to the applications, while reducing costs both during installation and throughout the equipment’s life cycle. The simplicity and modularity of the Magelis STU make it a great fit for pumping applications, available with the option of 5.7” or 3.5” QVGA 65K color TFT display screens that provide crystal-clear readability and accurate touch control, even with gloves. The modular design of the Magelis STU is benefited by the patented 22 mm-diameter standard push-button style mounting system, eliminating the need for enclosure cut-out modifications.

PowerPact B circuit breakers: Optimized for pump application needs

PowerPact B molded case circuit breakers and switches are the latest member of the Square D PowerPact range. Benefiting from 60 years of expertise and leadership in industrial circuit breaker technology, the PowerPact B-frame offers proven performance, flexibility and reliability. The product also features new innovations, such as the patented Everlink™ connections and integrated DIN rail mounting. The PowerPact B-frame circuit breaker provides economical thermal-magnetic circuit protection in a compact design, offering unique values to pump system designers and installers in addition to a wide range of accessories, auxiliaries, and lug options. The PowerPact B-frame line is available in 1, 2, 3, and 4-pole unit mount construction and 1, 2, and 3-pole I-Line™ construction.
