Latest solutions offer a greener way to pack and dispense composites

At JEC World 2019, Sulzer Mixpac will showcase its latest solutions for packaging and dispensing of adhesives and sealants for different industries, including automotive and construction. In the spotlight will be ecopaCCTM a collapsible cartridge designed to slash the amount of plastic waste produced and the overall carbon footprint of adhesive and sealant packaging whilst delivering precise and reliable dispensing.

JEC World 2019 is one of the largest events globally for the composite industry. The trade fair is a forum for industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the sector. The development of efficient solutions with low environmental impacts is a key topic of discussion. Sulzer Mixpac, specialized in the design, development and manufacturing of packaging, mixing and dispensing systems for both single and multi-component materials, will be exhibiting its latest solution, ecopaCC, on stand F68, hall 5.

EcopaCC is a two-component packaging characterized by its collapsibility, as it reduces significantly its size during dispensing. Once empty, the cartridge occupies minimum space. It can be removed easily from the reusable support sleeve for disposal. The solution features improved shelf-life and leak-proof properties as well as reduced waste production.

In addition to its sustainable aspects and eco-friendly practices, ecopaCC also offers superior performance in dispensing two-component materials. When combined with the known range of high quality mixing tips and dispensers, the system ensures a high level of dispensing precision resulting in optimal mixing results.
