Contributor: Valve Manufacturers Association of America

The Valve Manufacturers Association of America (VMA) announces the 2020 Valve Forum: Conference and Exhibits in Phoenix, AZ.

The 3rd Annual Valve Forum will be held April 29th – May 1st, at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Scottsdale in Phoenix, AZ.  This popular event includes three distinct educational tracks curated by industry experts: Technical, Manufacturing and Management/Marketing.  Exhibit table-top displays are also offered to provide attendees with an opportunity to network with suppliers and other companies who offer services to the valve, flow control, and automation industry.  The event will also have pre-conference workshops and tours of local organizations that will showcase innovations from outside the valve industry.

The keynote, “Bridging the Gaps – How to Transfer Knowledge in Today’s Multigenerational Workplace,” will be held in an opening session for all attendees.  The various session topics include: the latest trends in Industry 4.0, IIoT, Robotics, Severe Service Valves, End-User Perspectives, Visual Storytelling, Effective Workplace Communications, Cyber Security, and more.

“We’re excited to host this annual event; the Valve Forum is a place for valve industry professionals to update their expertise and network with peers across disciplines,” says Heather Rhoderick, VMA president.

This event is open to anyone in the valve, valve actuation, and valve automation industry, and is ideal for end-users, engineering, and consulting firms, distributors, manufacturing and supplier firms, or related industry groups and professionals.  Attendees will receive 10+ Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and a certificate of completion will be granted at the close of the event. Registration is now open, and more information can be found online.

About VMA: Founded in 1938, the Valve Manufacturers Association of America is a trade association that represents the interests of nearly 100 North American manufacturers of valves, actuators and controls. Collectively, members account for approximately 80% of the total industrial valve shipments out of U.S. facilities. VMA is headquartered in Washington, DC.
