43rd Turbomachinery and 30th International Pump Users Symposia

The 43rd Turbomachinery and 30th International Pump Users Symposia (Pump & Turbo 2014) will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas on September 23-25, with short courses being offered on September 22 in conjunction with the Symposia. Pump & Turbo 2014 will feature a world-class technical program combined with an international exhibition. Built on a history of success, the goal of this annual event is to promote professional development, technology transfer, peer networking, and information exchange among industry professionals.

Paid Symposia attendees can choose to attend and engage in a combination of 13 short courses, 18 lectures, 22 tutorials, 27 discussion groups, and 21 case studies led by industry experts from around the world. Continuing education credits are offered for all technical sessions.

The Symposia exhibition show will host booths of over 300 leading companies from the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, pumping and turbomachinery industries. Inside the exhibit hall, companies will display full-size equipment, cutting-edge technology, and emerging industry trends. During a portion of the Symposia, the exhibit hall will be free to the public upon attendee completion of a free-pass registration form (Tuesday 2 p.m. – 7 p.m., Wednesday 2 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., and Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – noon).

The Symposia is organized by the Turbomachinery Laboratory, part of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and The Texas A&M University System.
