Blackmer to Exhibit full range of pumps and compressors at AEGPL Congress 2012

Full range of pumps and compressors on display in Booths 46 & 57

Blackmer®, a global leader in positive displacement rotary vane and reciprocating-gas compressor technologies, has announced that it will be exhibiting at the AEGPL Congress June 6-7, 2012, at the Square-Brussels Meeting Centre in Brussels, Belgium. The AEGPL Congress brings together European and global LPG leaders to discuss the latest opportunities and issues facing the sector, including how LPG can help the European union achieve its energy and environmental goals. AEGPL is comprised of 24 national LPG associations representing the main European LPG suppliers, distributors and equipment manufacturers.

Exhibiting in Booths 46 and 57, Blackmer manufactures a complete line of LGL (stationary) and TLGL (truck mounted) Series Pumps for the LPG and NH3 market. Utilizing Blackmer’s unique cavitation suppression liner design, the pumps reduce noise, vibration and wear normally caused by entrained vapors. The pumps also feature a ductile iron construction with internal relief valves, excellent self-priming and dry-run capabilities, and easy maintenance.

Within its LGL Series family of pumps, Blackmer will be displaying its LGLH2 and LGLD2E models as well as a newly upgraded version of its LGL158 Series Motor-Speed Pump. All of these pumps can be tasked for use in high-pressure, continuous-duty LPG transfer applications. The design of the new LGL158B pumps is smaller than traditional models, allowing them to offer reduced flow rate for auto-gas-dispensers; reduced horsepower requirements; use with single-phase motors; as well as the ability to be used in high-pressure/continuous-duty applications.

Blackmer also manufactures its highly reliable line of LB Series reciprocating oil-free gas compressors that are available with transfer rates of 132 to 2,630 L/min (35 to 700 US gpm), and designed to handle transfer and recovery of liquefied gases like propane, butane and anhydrous ammonia. All models feature ductile iron pressure parts for greater resistance to both thermal and mechanical shock.
