Pressure Temperature Ratings

People who have to specify valves and assure the performance of pressurized systems must have a complete grasp on the pressure ratings of every component in their system. Check valves can be constructed of different materials, including steel, stainless steel, gray iron, and ductile iron. Because different materials have different mechanical properties, they are assigned different pressure ratings.
