As I sat on a plane to Houston using a pen from an industry event. I had the thought, “this will be an EPIC event!

It has been 20 years in the making. It’s filled with decades of lessons learned, connections made, and a tremendous amount of knowledge shared. The shared love for the industry, the equipment and the people who run our world and provide us the comfort in our homes and businesses each day. These behind the wall products that we take for granted. The elements of creating energy that powers our lives. The water we need to live and thrive as well as manufacture the goods we expect to obtain without delay. Understanding how we get our food and beverages to mining resources we use in technology; these are the types of things we take for granted. The very education I have received to understand the magnitude of these items has been taken for granted… No more!

We will use this knowledge and that of my team to build this EPIC event. And yes, we love a fun acronym! When I think of the word epic, I also think of words like heroic; majestic; impressively great.

Now that’s something I can get behind! Like every vision I have had for the growth of our business, it’s created with you, our customers and connections in mind. It takes into account what we have seen is missing in industry and what we can create. We can create a table where leaders of diverse backgrounds and skill sets can come together and learn from each other. From the C-suite to the classroom, we can learn from each other.

This event will pull all that we have learned together and give you what the industry needs. A meeting place…where the workforce and industry connect! So many times, I have run from a vision this big. Today, with the help of my team and the Legacy Leadership locker room, I see this is exactly what our experiences and hard work have set in motion.
