Blackmer® Releases New S Series “How It Works” Animations

Blackmer®, part of PSG®, a Dover company and a global leader in positive displacement, regenerative turbine and centrifugal pump, and reciprocating compressor technologies, is pleased to announce the availability of new “How It Works” animations for its S Series twin and triple screw pumps. Available on the S Series webpage or by visiting the Blackmer YouTube channel at youtube.com/blackmerglobal, the new animations provide viewers with valuable information about the operation of S Series twin and triple screw pumps.

PSGOffered with or without external timing gears and bearings, Blackmer S Series pumps are self-priming, double-ended positive displacement pumps that offer outstanding performance in the most demanding applications. Blackmer’s twin and triple screw designs provide complete axial balancing of the rotating screws and their timing technologies eliminate metal-to-metal contact with the pump. S Series pumps are ATEX-certified for use in explosive or dangerous environments, and have been specifically designed to address the difficult pumping challenges found in the Oil & Gas, process and marine industries. S Series pumps provide solutions that can meet the toughest application challenges regardless of temperature, viscosity or pressure.

PSGBlackmer S Series pumps are available in four distinct lines, each having multiple model configurations and sizes: twin screw (WTG), twin screw with non-timing gear (NTG), multi-phase twin screw, and triple screw. Other features of Blackmer S Series pumps include compact design, ability to run dry for short periods, high suction lift and constant flow rates despite varying conditions. They are low noise and nearly pulsation-free with little fluid agitation, making them ideal for use with corrosive and non-corrosive, low or high viscosity, and clean or abrasive liquids.
