WateReuse Applauds Selection of Radhika Fox to Lead EPA’s Office of Water

The WateReuse Association applauds the appointment of Radhika Fox as Principal Deputy Assistant Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water. Radhika brings more than 20 years of experience in developing policies, programs and issue-based advocacy campaigns on the most salient water issues facing the nation.

Prior to her appointment at EPA, Radhika Fox was the Chief Executive Officer of the US Water Alliance, a national nonprofit organization advancing policies and programs that build a sustainable water future for all.

“Under Radhika’s leadership, the U.S. Water Alliance was an important stakeholder and partner for WateReuse, and while I haven’t worked with Radhika personally, I am familiar with her work and efforts to shine a spotlight on the importance of one water approaches to solving water challenges. I’m excited for Radhika personally, and wish her all the best in this new post,” said WateReuse Association President Gilbert Trejo, who is also Chief Technical Officer for El Paso Water.

Radhika previously served as Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and as the Federal Policy Director at PolicyLink, where she coordinated the organization’s policy agenda on a wide range of issues, including infrastructure investment, transportation, sustainable communities, economic inclusion, and workforce development.

“Radhika Fox has been an important leader in the water sector’s embrace of a one water approach and water reuse to solve water resources challenges,” said Patricia Sinicropi, Executive Director of the WateReuse Association. “She brings vision and passion for a future where water recycling is the essential ingredient to ensure communities can confront the challenges of climate change successfully, and build resilient and sustainable water supplies and management systems. The WateReuse Association looks forward to working with Radhika in this important leadership role and congratulates her on this appointment.”

WateReuse looks forward to continuing to work with EPA under Radhika Fox’s leadership to advance EPA’s Water Reuse Action Plan and other initiatives that invest in creating and maintaining a resilient water future for the nation.

The WateReuse Association is the nation’s only trade association solely dedicated to advancing laws, policy, funding, and public acceptance of recycled water. Our membership includes utilities that recycle water, businesses that support the development of recycled water projects, and consumers of recycled water.
