WEG Electric & Hydraulic Institute offer a NEW and FREE WEBINAR on Motors, Pumps, and Drives Interaction

The motor, pump and drive react to system requirements and operates based on system resistance.

When seeking improvements in pumping systems, many plants evaluate components like motors, pumps and drives on an individual basis rather than consider their interactions within the total pump system.

Many improvement opportunities, however, relate to the dynamics of different components. Taking a total system approach to pumping systems operation is critical to achieve higher reliability and improve performance.

The Free Webinar covers:
• Why Efficient Pumping Systems Are Important
• Think System: the impact that motors, pumps and drives have
on the total system
• Motor, pump and drive interactions
• Using a systems approach to manage motor, pump and drive operations
• Efficiency means reliability

Presenter: William C. Livoti, Business Development Manager, Power Generation, WEG Electric Corporation

With over 40 years of experience in the pump industry designing, field testing, repairing and troubleshooting mechanical seals, compressors and pumping systems, William has worked for several pump and mechanical seal OEM’s as well as Corporate Principal Engineer for Balance of Plant equipment at a large power utility company where among other responsibilities he was accountable for asset management, life cycle performance, system assessment, failure analysis, plant efficiency, O&M and capital budget. Mr. Livoti has co-authored two books with the Hydraulic Institute.
