Xylem to showcase its analytics brands at Pittcon 2015

Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company, will showcase their portfolio of strong industry leading brands and comprehensive analytical solutions at Pittcon 2015.

Xylem’s lab and field capabilities will be on display in booth #3417/3517 at the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana March 9-12.

Brands that engage the customer

Xylem will demonstrate their comprehensive solutions and focused market approach at Pittcon 2015, with a strong showing of products across multiple brands. The proven expertise that the Xylem teams bring to the customer help to facilitate open discussions around identifying solutions that improve productivity and monitor quality across multiple applications and industries.

“We continue to engage our customers in problem/solution dialogues to develop products that solve a problem and make sense to the end-user,” says Chris McIntire, Xylem SVP and President, Analytics and Treatment. “Whether we’re addressing water treatment productivity issues with automating a process, or water quality concerns in a pharma plant, we continually reach across our brand portfolio to develop new products and solutions, to address customer needs head on, across a breadth of markets. There aren’t many companies out there that can do that.”

The proven analytical brands of Xylem that are at Pittcon this year are YSI, OI Analytical, Bellingham + Stanley, SI Analytics and ebro. These brands address the needs of several market segments, with products at the show that will focus on Analytical Lab, Life Science, Chemical and Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Water/Wastewater.

New Products

Some of the new product solutions on display at the Xylem booth at Pittcon this year will be from their OI Analytical, YSI and their Bellingham + Stanley brands.

OI Analytical will be featuring the OI FS 3700 Automated Chemistry Analyzer for the environmental lab and wastewater markets. The 3700 is ideal for daily compliance monitoring of a number of parameters such as cyanide, nitrate/nitrite, phosphate, and ammonia, or for addressing water quality issues for production or process applications.

YSI will feature their TruLine® ISE electrodes coupled with their lab products, offering a significant variety of unique pH and ISE instruments for a broad range of lab applications, from food/beverage and biochem to life science and water.

Xylem’s Bellingham + Stanley brand will be launching the new RFM960-C Peltier temperature controlled refractometer. The RFM960-C delivers thermally stable results across a wide refractive index range, for end-users in the pharmaceutical, chemical/petrochemical, and flavors/fragrance industries.

In addition to the new product offerings and market solutions at the Xylem booth, Xylem’s YSI brand invites visitors to take the YSI pH Challenge to promote YSI’s pH expertise in the lab. YSI will have a range of sample solutions, and visitors will have an opportunity to guess the pH.

Conversely, Xylem’s OI Analytical brand will be looking for Lab Heroes throughout the show, inviting visitors to stop by and share their story about why they’re a lab hero.
