Intelligent drives make water pumping stations smarter

By: Danfoss

Increase uptime and efficiency in your water pumping stations with predictive and condition-based maintenance. Discover how with Danfoss intelligent drives. In a water pumping station, motor winding damage may cause the pump to stop but with condition-based monitoring, you can keep uptime high and scheduled preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected stops. The intelligent drive detects changes in the motor current and analyzes the data to identify an early motor winding fault. It then sends a warning to the operator to start another pump and repair the damaged motor. Data is securely stored in the cloud on-premises in local data storage or an automation system for further analysis. Danfoss’s intelligent drives unleash the intelligence from within.
